When we first start shooting your wedding, I like to start with the bride's detailed images. Photos of your wedding dress, veil, engagement rings, wedding bands, bridal bouquet, save the date and wedding invitation. All of these images help tell the story of our newlyweds.
After this, we set up for our couple's first look. A first look is when a bride and groom decided to see each other prior to their ceremony to take all of their posed photos. They do this so they can make it to all of their cocktail hour.
Depending on the light, I like to set up the first look at Oheka Castle's grand entrance on the stairs.
The image you see here was taken at that location. I used the window light to create this beautiful wedding photo of the bride. I love the symmetry that the stairs give, the window light hits the bride's face and illuminates the white wedding dress.
I added the groom to this photo too but, I personally prefer it without him in it.
One of my favorite places to use when photographing your bridal party photos is Oheka Castles' long driveway. They have huge trees that create beautiful, leading lines.
