When you see your wedding gallery of images, I want you to see a diverse mix of photos.

The first photos we will take when we photograph your wedding at Captain Bills will be of your details.

Creative images of your veil, wedding dress, wedding bands, engagement ring, bridal bouquet, wedding invitation, and save-the-date card all tell the story of our couple's wedding day.

These photographs are often the first to be selected when our newlyweds are selecting images for their wedding album.

The next section of your wedding that we will photograph will be your "getting ready" photos.

I always love to include the mother of the bride or the maid of honor in these images.

Captain Bills Bride | Wedding Photos

As professional wedding photographers, we are trained to photograph certain moments of your ceremony. Some of the images we will photograph at your ceremony will be of the first time the groom sees his bride-to-be walking down the aisle, this is called a processional, your ring exchange ceremony, your vows, candle lighting ceremony, sand ceremony, and of course, your first kiss as husband and wife. All of these are must-have photos to include in your wedding album.When we photograph your ceremony, we will use professional-grade cameras, lenses and lights to give you the highest quality photos possible.

Beautiful Church Photos of a Bride and Groom Together

After your ceremony, we usually photograph the receiving line, this is when the couples and their family meet and thank their guests for coming to the ceremony. Often times, we then set up an exit shot.

This is where we line up the bridesmaids on one side of the church steps and the groomsmen on the other side.

The bride and groom often provide bubbles to everyone, and then we have the couple exit the church.

Once this is done, I usually like to take the couple back into the church to take a few creative images of them together.

Often times, these images are usually used in our couple's thank you cards.

The images of our bride and groom laughing and having a great time with their bridal party are always the photographs that are printed and added to our couple's wedding album and parent albums.

When we photograph your reception, some of the images we will take will be of, the bridal parties' grand entrance, the bride's and groom's grand entrance, your first dance as husband and wife, the best man and maid of honor speeches, your parent dances, cake cutting ceremony and of course your garter and bouquet toss.

Parent dances are a wedding tradition that I love the photograph.

When we photograph your parent dances at Captain Bills, we will take many beautiful candid photos of all of the great emotion while taking an unobtrusive approach.

I will use a photography technique called off-camera flash.

This technique allows us to place the light exactly where we want it, which gives our images a wow factor.

This is why we give lighting assistants to all of or main photographers.

About a month prior to your wedding day, I will ask you and your future husband to come into our studio to put together a timeline.

If you do, we will schedule out time during your reception, no longer than 10 minutes to take the beautiful images.
