When we photograph your wedding some of the first images we will take will be of your wedding dress, engagement ring, wedding bands, bridal bouquet, and wedding invitation.

Then I will take some bridal portraits before your first reveal.

What I like about this image is the light on the bride. This is what I would call a dramatic portrait of the bride on her wedding day.

You see the light is illuminating her face, and the wedding dress then falls into shadow.

This photography technique gives depth to your photo.

When I photograph a couple's first look I like to use the dock as the background.

This provides us a clean background so the focus is on the couple's expression.

When I am photographing a ceremony at Danford's, I will be as unobtrusive as possible.

We have all been to weddings where the photographer was in the way or blocked the guests' view. That will not happen if you book us for your ceremony.

We will use the telephoto lens so we can zoom in, so we will not get in anyone's way while still getting all the emotion that comes with your ceremony.

Boardwalk Wedding Photos at Danford's

One of my favorite locations to use when I photograph weddings at Danfords is their boardwalk.

The sky, the water, and the pier are all great elements to include in your images.

I love to have the bride and groom hold hands and just walk up and down the boardwalk, this creates a relaxed atmosphere and allows me to take beautiful candid images for my couples.

We would love to take romantic sunset photos for you on your wedding day.

About a month prior to your big day, I will have you and your fiancé come into our studio to go over all of the details of your wedding.

We will help you up together with a timeline that allows us to take all of the images you want.

One of the topics we will go over will be if you would like to take some sunset photos.

If you do, we will schedule a 5-minute period during your reception to go on the balcony to take these images.

OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE

The outdoor ceremony space at Danford's is a cute little spot in between their shops.

During your ceremony, we will take many candid images of:

MARINA

With views of the Port Jefferson Harbor on Long Island Sound, the marina at Danford's is a great location to use for many of your wedding photographs.

I have used the marina to photograph everything from the bride's and groom's first look, fun bridal party photos, and traditional family photos.

The marina has the docks, the beach, and tree-lined walkways that are beautiful to include in your wedding photos.
