The grand ballroom at the Village Club of Sand Point is a multi-purpose location. While of course it will be used as the main ballroom, where you and your guests will dance the night away. It is also used as an indoor ceremony space.

I have photographed everything from fun bridal party images here, to creative couples portraits, family photos, and of course all of the images associated with a wedding reception, i.e. the bride's and groom's first dance, parent dances, cake cutting ceremony, etc.

The grand ballroom has a few features that make it very unique.

• It has huge glass ceilings that are a delight to photograph and they let in a ton of available light which is great if you are looking for the light and airy wedding photos.

• The grand ballroom has multiple balconies which make it perfect to get a wide-angle photo of your first dance, parent dances, and dancing photos.

Another unique feature of the Village Club of Sands Point to use in your wedding photos is their balcony. When you go up the grand staircase leading up to the bridal suite, you will see a 360 balcony overlooking the grand ballroom.

I have used this location to create stunning photos of the newlyweds together on their wedding day. I don't think there is another catering hall on Long Island that has this type of feature.

What I love about it is that the warm glow of their string lights give a beautiful backlight to all of your ceremony photos. Also it has a beautiful balcony that overlooks the entire space which allows us to photograph your ceremony in in various angles.
