We are so glad we chose Lotus as our wedding photographer. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and beautiful photos made it so easy to work with them and they captured such amazing memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We had a wonderful engagement shoot with James, who helped us look natural and have fun throughout, and our happiness shines through in our photos. For our wedding day, we had Vince and James as a team. Vince stuck to me throughout the day and did a great job capturing the candid joy and moments of the day. James took artistic shots and helped coordinate our poses. Both of them played with light, angles and the different areas throughout our venue to create a holistic album of photos and video footage. Overall, the Lotus team was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend them and their talent for any bride!Reena K Facebook
I can’t even put into words how thankful I am to have had Justin and the Lotus Photography team be apart of our special day. From the moment my husband and I met Justin we hit it off. Justin understood our vision, listened and surpassed our expectations. He and his team were professional, timely and always a phone call away. Their creativity and ability to capture some of our most treasured memories was flawless. I can’t express my gratitude enough. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to capture their beautiful moments with a professional team. -Jenna & Mike B.Jenna B The Knot
Lotus is the most amazing photographers and talent videographers we have ever met. Justin and his crew are amazing. Photos are usually a bit exhausting but we might have to say we had just as much if not more fun with these guys than our guest! They made our rainy wedding day the brightest and most beautiful journey we could ask for. If you are wise book them! We hope to make more memories and explore new life steps just so that we can hire them and see them again! We love love love them. Five stars is not enoughDominique Cecilia Facebook

When looking for the right wedding photographer for you, you should see the images your photographer has taken at your venue and then ask yourself, would you like photos like this of you on your wedding day?
When we start photographing your wedding, we always take photos of the bride's wedding dress, veil, shoes, engagement ring, wedding bands, invitation, and save-the-date card.
These images help us tell your story through our images.
These detail photos are usually the first pictures selected for our couple's wedding album.
Once we have completed your detail photos, we then move on to your "getting ready" images.
I always like to have the maid of honor place the bride's veil. Then I ask the mother of the bride to zip up the back of her wedding dress.
These images are always photographed candidly as to capture the real emotions of your wedding day.
Your ceremony is going to be full of beautiful moments that I would love to photograph for you.
What I love about photographing ceremonies at The Vineyards at Aquebogue is, every direction you look there is a beautiful background.
When I photograph your ceremony, I will take an unobtrusive approach. This allows your guests to enjoy your ceremony without us being in their way.
We will use the telephoto lens which will allow us to zoom in from far away so we can still capture what is going on such as your first kiss as husband and wife, your vows, ring exchange ceremony all while staying far away as to not distract your guests.
After the couple's ceremony, we went to the back of the venue to take these romantic photos of the bride and groom together.
When you look at your wedding gallery, I want you to see a variety of photography styles.
Some light and airy images like the image here, as well as some creative photos.
This way when you are putting together your wedding album or parent albums you have many styles to choose from.
What makes Lotus Wedding Photography different than any other photography studio on Long Island is that we will tailor how we photograph your wedding based on what you like.
If you prefer more traditional photos, we will photography more of your wedding that way, if you prefer more candid images, that's ok too, we will photograph more sections of your wedding day candidly.
This image of the bride and groom was taken at sunset in the vineyards.
I had already taken some light and airy images of the couple as well as some more artistic pictures, but I wanted to give them yet another look.
I love the sunsets at The Vineyards at Aquebogue.
While you and your guests are enjoying your cocktail hour, we will be in your grand ballroom photographing all of the details.
Some of the images I will take will be of your wedding cake, table settings, couples dais, centerpieces, guests' seating chart, and menu with the bride's and groom's names on it.
These images will make a beautiful spread in your wedding album.
Your reception is going to be full of beautiful moments that I would love to photograph for you.

During your reception, we will ask you if you would like to take some night-time wedding photos. If you do, we will take you out for 10 minutes during your reception to take these images.
