So many times, I see companies bait and switch their clients. They promise you the world, and then the day of your wedding, you get whatever they send you, and then they say, we "upgraded." This is one of the most frustrating things that can happen during a wedding day. You want to make sure that you have it in writing that you ordered a particular limo and that if they send anything but that Limo, you will get some form of compensation.
The Master of Ceremony (MC) is the heart and soul of your event. They are the ones who get the crowd out of their seat and onto the dance floor. You want to know who your MC is to make sure he knows what he is doing and if you like his style. Some MC’s are too loud; some are too pushy; you have to make sure that the person in charge knows your style and what you are looking for in a Wedding MC.
Most people have no idea that it could take up to 9 months to receive your wedding dress. Then between the fittings and alterations, god knows how long it will take actually to fit into your wedding dress perfectly. The very first question I would ask my wedding dress boutique is how long it takes from the moment I order my dress to the day I can put it on, and it will fit me perfectly.
Wedding days rarely run perfectly smooth. No matter how hard you plan, sometimes, things happen. That is why it is important to get a hair and makeup team that can adapt to bridesmaids running late. Sometimes your hair or makeup team may do 2 or even 3 different events a day, and if they are scheduled to leave at a specific time, they may feel like they have to rush through your bridesmaid's makeup so they can go and get to the next wedding. That is why, in our opinion, you should try to get a team that is dedicated to you and only you the day of the wedding. This way, they can take their time and do the job right.
You should never get your images later than 6 weeks after your wedding day.
You want to make sure you get all of your images hi-rez and non-watermarked. This ensures you can print your photos whenever and wherever you like.
This is one of, if not the best question to ask your catering hall. The reason is simple, if they have 3 weddings going on at the same time, you will be limited to where you can go in this venue. This means if you booked the hall for a particular location to take photographs, and there are multiple weddings going on simultaneously, you run the risk of another bride already using this location to take her wedding photos. You want to make sure that you can use whatever part of the grounds you wish to, at any time you want. Get this in writing! Many times catering halls, just like most salespeople, will say one thing, and then when push comes to shove, they will say they never said that or you misheard them. Get it in writing, so you know you are covered at all times.
