When I photograph your bridal party photos, I usually take a traditional image of the groom with each of his groomsmen individually, the bride with each of her bridesmaids individually, and a group shot of the entire bridal party together. These are standard wedding photos you have to take.

But after the traditional pictures are completed, I like to have fun and get the bridal party to be silly, laugh, and enjoy being photographed.

When we photograph your traditional family photos at Sand Castle, we like to use the photo area on the second floor.

This area has an elevator, so it is wheelchair accessible and has seating so grandmas and grandpas can sit and wait to be photographed.

The clean / non-distracting background is perfect for your formal family portraits.

During your final appointment with us about one month before your wedding, we will schedule an appointment with you to come into our studio.

We will go over every detail of your wedding, including the family groupings you would like us to take on your big day.

If you are looking for a beautiful location for your fun bridal party images or traditional family portraits, the Gazebo provides the perfect background.

When we photograph your wedding at The Sand Castle, the first thing we look for is good light, then we look for a great background.

Fortunately, the Sand Castle has many great locations to choose from, no matter where you look, to create images that pop off of your wedding album.

GRAND BALLROOM

The Sand Castles grand ballroom can host up to 350 guests on your wedding day.

During your reception, we take the utmost care in photographing your grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, and all of the other great moments that will happen during your wedding reception at The Sand Castle.

Our team of professional Long Island wedding photographers will use various photography techniques to photograph all of your reception formalities. One of these photography techniques is called off-camera flash. When we use off-camera flash, it allows us to place the light where we would like and not have it all over the place. Which then gives our photos a creative flair.

OUTDOOR CEREMONY AREA

The outdoor ceremony area at Sand Castle is a beautiful location to host your wedding ceremony. The white backdrop and green trees will wow your guests on your wedding day.

When we photograph your wedding ceremony, we will take many candid photos of the first time the groom sees his bride-to-be walking down the aisle, your vows, the first kiss as husband and wife, the candle lighting ceremony, processional and recessional.
